WBO World-ranked Filipino Prince Albert Pagara (L) scaled-in at 126 lbs while his opponent Thailand journeyman Aekkawee Kaewmanee (also know as Patomsith Pathompothong) weighed-in at 124.5 lbs for their 10-rounder Pinoy Pride 41 battle at the plush IEC Convention Center Saturday night in Cebu.
After the weigh-in Pagara and the southpaw Kaewmanee shook hands in a good sportsmanlike gesture; both pro boxers looking in excellent physical shape, ready for tomorrow's rumble.
Pagara (27-1, 18 KO's) is in the process of re-building his boxing career as a 126-pounder after being shocked in eight rounds by rough Mexican Cesar Juarez in mid last year in San Mateo, California; and ravaging the veteran Kaewmanee on Saturday would boost the Filipino's confidence in his fists while improve his standing in the WBO ranking.

Pagara is currently WBO # 13. Two undefeated Filipino featherweights are as well in the 126-lbs world-rankings: ALA stablemate Mark "Magnifico" Magsayo (16-0, 12 KO's) is WBO # 2 and former stablemate (now based in Japan) Genesis Servania (29-0, 12 KO's) is WBO # 4.
Born in Maasin, Leyte, Prince Alber Pagara will have in his corner his experienced trainer Edito Ala Villamor while the 35-year-old Kaewmanee will be assisted by Thai coach former muay thai boxer Kan Hamongkol.

The Pagara-Kaewmanee war is one of the features fights in Pinoy Pride 41 Saturday night at the IEC Concention Center in Mabolo, Cebu City. The main event is the 12-rounder between Mark "Magnifico" Magsayo and Daniel "El General" Diaz of Nicaragua.
General Admission tickets are 300, 200 and 100 pesos. Bring family and friends to support the Pinoy Pride warriors. Gates open at 4 PM.
