National Anthem Singer for Pacquiao Bout Announced

After much speculation and deliberation, the singer of the Philippine national anthem during the boxing superstar, Manny ?Pacman? Pacquiao?s much-awaited rematch with future hall-of-famer ?Baby Faced Assassin?s? Marco Antonio Barrera has been determined.
So who is it? Is it Pacman?s future leading lady in his upcoming film for the Manila Film Festival? At least not this time, it is no less than, R&B pop princess of the country, KYLA. She will be singing the ?Lupang Hinirang? on October 6, 2007 at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas in front of thousands in attendance and millions watching in their households as well as in cinemas.
There?s no stopping Solar Entertainment Corporation, MP Promotions and TV Partner ?Kapuso? GMA 7, in making sure the Philippine National Anthem will be done in the most professional way. The partners agreed that GMA will handle the assigning of the controversial performer, in this light, the partners have been careful in deliberating and painstakingly ensured that our national anthem will be delivered in accordance to world class standards.
The R and B pop princess is certainly thrilled and was delighted and ecstatic after she heard the news that she was personally handpicked by the committee.
