March 7, at 10 A.M. PT Manhattan Beach Marriott LOS ANGELES (March 2, 2017) -- Undefeated World Boxing Organization (WBO) world champions ?SCAR VALDEZ, GILBERTO "Zurdo" RAMIREZ and JESSIE MAGDALENO will be announcing their next title defenses at a press conference brunch, This Tuesday! March 7, in the Manhattan Ballroom A at the Manhattan Beach Marriott (1400 Parkview Ave., Manhattan Beach, Calif. 90266). Brunch will be served at 10:00 a.m. with the press conference beginning at 10:30 a.m. PT. Joining the world champions will be U.S. Olympic silver medalist SHAKUR STEVENSON and Hall of Fame promoter BOB ARUM. Valdez (22-0, 19 KOs), from Nogales, Mexico, will be making the second defense of his WBO featherweight title against NABO champion and No. 1 contender Miguel Marriaga (25-1, 21 KOs), from Arjona, Colombia; Ramirez (34-0, 24 KOs), from Mazatlan, Mexico, will be making his first defense of the WBO super middleweight title against Top-10 contender Maksim Bursak (33-4-1, 15 KOs), of Kiev, Ukraine; Magdaleno (24-0, 17 KOs) of Las Vegas, Nev., will be making the first defense of his WBO junior featherweight title against WBO Latino champion Adeilson Dos Santos (18-2, 14 KOs), of S?o Paulo, Brasil, and Stevenson, the crown jewel of the 2016 U.S. Olympic team, will be making his eagerly-awaited professional debut in a four-round featherweight bout. Marriaga and Dos Santos will also be at Tuesday's press conference. The six world championship warriors have a combined record of 156-7-1 for a winning percentage of 95% with a victory by knockout ratio of 71%. Promoted by Top Rank?, in association with All Star Boxing, Zapari Boxing Promotions and Antonio Leonard Productions, the world championship event will take place, Saturday, April 22, at StubHub Center in Carson, Calif.
