TEMECULA, Calif. ? Floyd Mayweather Jr. big 40th birthday celebration continues tonight, and will be part of this evening?s ShoBox: The New Generation telecast live on SHOWTIME? (10 p.m. ET/PT, delayed on the West Coast) from Pechanga Casino & Resort in Temecula.
Mayweather will stop by ringside and visit with ShoBox?s expert analyst Steve Farhood to reflect on his life and career, as well as to discuss one of his primary current business endeavors, Mayweather Promotions, including the fighters who will be featured in the ring tonight.
Top super welterweight prospects Chris ?Young King? Pearson (14-1, 10 KOs, WSB 3-0, 1 KO) and Justin ?The Chosen One? DeLoach (16-1, 8 KOs) headline the Friday night?s fights. In the telecast opener, unbeaten cruiserweights Andrew Tabiti (13-0, 11 KOs) and Quantis Graves (11-0-2, 4 KOs) will clash in a 10-round bout and in the co-feature, undefeated up-and-coming prospect Saul Rodriguez (20-0-1, 15 KOs) will take on Chile?s Oscar Bravo (22-6, 10 KOs) in a 10-round lightweight battle.
