ROACH ARRIVES IN THE PHILIPPINES THURSDAY

Famed fight trainer Freddie Roach informed Philboxing that he will depart from Los Angeles and head to The Philippines Tuesday night, at 10PM. Roach made it clear that there was never any rift, or disagreement between himself and Manny Pacquiao, " Manny and I have talked about this before, we talked about maybe training in The Philippines, but decided to train in Los Angeles instead. Manny thought about it some more, and changed his mind, he decided that he would rather train in The Philippines." Philboxing asked Roach if there were plans to return to Los Angeles for the last part of training, he replied, " No, we'll stay in The Philippines for the majority of the training camp. We will come back to Los Angeles 14 days before the fight with Barrera. I would rather keep Manny in one place rather than have him bounce back and forth in the middle of camp."
