BREAKING NEWS: GORRES TO FIGHT ORTIZ AS GUERRERO HAS DETACHED RETINAS!

Golden Boy Promotions vice-president Eric Gomez and international matchmaker Sampson 'Picasso' Lewkowicz have informed the media that Mexican Gerson Guerrero is out due to medical reasons, and will not be able to fight Z 'The Dream' Gorres at the World Cup.
Instead, Gorres will now fight Eric Ortiz for the IBF Intercontinental superflyweight championship.
AJ Banal, who was originally slated to face Ortiz, will get a new opponent whose name will be announced soon.
According to reliable sources, Guerrero was diagnosed with two detached retinas, thus he was advised to pull out of the fight.
