NBA -- ​Jazz tune out Lakers, 88-74

LOS ANGELES -- The Los Angeles Lakers fell to a new low on Sunday night, losing to the Utah Jazz, 88-74 at Staples Center.
The defeat was the Lakers' 31st this season, making their 8-31 start as the worst in franchise history.
Gordon Hayward had a big hand in this Lakers debacle by knocking down 10 of 21 shots for 25 points. Rodney ,Hood added 14, Trey Burke added while Rudy Gobert pumped in 10 points for Utah, which began to ran away from the Lakers with a 28-16 second quarter spurt.
The Lakers suited up only 10 healthy players and Lou Williams led the way with 18 points. Jordan Clarkson finished with 14, Julius Randle had 11 and seven rebounds while Larry Nance Jr turned in 10 and 11 boards..
Kobe Bryant did not play. The superstar who announced his retirement at the end of this season, was sidelined by a strained Achilles tendon.
The Jazz climbed to 17-20 and remained at No.8 in the Western Conference.
