NBA -- Lakers squeak past Blazers, 104-102

LOS ANGELES -- Jordan Clarkson had 17 points, four rebounds and three assists while D'Angelo Russell added 12 points to lead the Los Angeles Lakers to a thrilling 104-102 victory over the Portland Trail Blazers on Monday night at the Staples Center.
Nick Young pumped in another 12 points and Jabari Brown contributed 10 markers as the Lakers improved to 3-4 in the preseason. Ryan Kelly only had nine for the Lakers, but his dunk with two seconds left to play gave the Lakers the winning margin.
Damien Lillard topped the Blazers with 20 and six assists while Maurice Harkless had 12. CJ McCollum and Allen Crabbe each had 10.
Portland, which returns to face the LA Clippers at Staples tonight, fell to 3-3. The Lakers improved to 3-4.
