"Jaca Not Going to Russia": Salud

Rex 'Wakee' Salud, who manages Jimrex 'The Executioner' Jaca, has expressed apprehensions his ward might get a bad decision in Russia, and now plans to have his ward fight on July 22 in Cebu instead of the June 30 bout in Moscow.
"Jaca will fight a Japanese on July 22 in my event," Salud stressed moments after landing at the NAIA from a 13-hour travel from Los Angeles.
On the same card, Randy 'Komong Bato' Suico will defend his OPBF lightweight title against Koji Samejima, while another Salud protege, WBA top-ranked minifly Eriberto 'Yukka' Gejon also sees action against another Japanese.
"The card will be a Philippines versus Japan show," added Salud.
