Unified light heavyweight champion Sergey Kovalev of Russia weighed in at 174.5 lbs while his challenger Nadjib Mohammedi of France stepped the scales at 173 lbs during Friday's official weighin at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino in Las Vegas for Saturday's bout, also at Mandalay Bay, where Kovalev (27-0-1, 24KO) will defend his WBO, WBA and IBF light heavyweight titles against Mohammedi (37-3-0, 23KO).
