?PINOY PRIDE? BACK IN DUBAI ON AUGUST 7

The highly successful ?Pinoy Pride? series returns to Dubai on August 7 with a fight card headed by the talented and popular Pagara brothers Jason and Prince Albert and exciting Mark ?Magnifico? Magsayo.
ALA Promotions president Michael Aldeguer confirmed in a conversation with the New Standard/boxingmirror.com that the event will definitely take place in August after they were forced to push back the plan for an Independence Day fight card for lack of time to promote the fight card and at the request of their partners in Dubai.
?Pinoy Pride XXXII? will be held at the World Trade Center in Dubai where the last staging on September 5, 2014 resulted in a turn-away crowd that had lined up for hours to buy tickets.
ABS-CBN consultant for sports Peter Musgni who was in Dubai with ALA Promotions president Michael Aldeguer earlier, told us that the August 7 12 fight card will be held at a bigger hall of the World Trade Center.
Musgni said that he and Aldeguer had ?very extensive and productive meetings and received direct feedback from Dubai and British officials? who were impressed with the staging of the last ?Pinoy Pride? event and that the 32 nd edition will be ?an official event of Dubai Tourism which will provide a financial subsidy? although no amount was mentioned.
Musgni and Aldeguer also met with the MCI staging company.
?Pinoy Pride XXXII? with an event that has become so much a part of the Philippines sports landscape and is extremely popular on The Filpino Channel which is widely watched in the Middle East.
26 year old Jason Pagara who has a record of 35-2 with 22 knockouts is coming off a 2nd round TKO of Cesar Chavez to retain his WBO International super lightweight title while younger brother Prince Albert Pagara is the undefeated IBF Intercontinental super bantamweight champion and boasts of an undefeated record of 23-0 with 16 knockouts.
Prince Albert is coming off a 4th round victory over Rodolfo Hernandez who was forced to retire after he injured his hand.
