Manny Pacquiao has all the stuffs champions are made of. Name it. The guy has it ? selfless, fearless, hardworking and God-fearing. These made him a stand out apart from the rest ? even compared to Floyd Mayweather. Just a few hours after a devastating temblor hit Nepal, Pacquiao and his wife, Sarangani Vice Gov. Jinkee, posted a short yet touching video message on Facebook extending their sympathy and prayers to the victims. ?Our hearts go out to our brothers and sisters who are suffering from the recent earthquake in Nepal,? said the video which showed the Pacquiao couple together. Pacquiao even quoted a Bible verse from Joshua 1:9, which says ?Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified, do not be discouraged for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.? The Fighter of the Decade ended his message by saying ?You are not alone Nepal. My family and I pray for your safety and deliverance. God bless you all.? I know how much humble & good-hearted person you are. Thank you for supporting my country in this devastating situation. Best of luck for your upcoming match on May 2.? A certain Raju Katwal commented ?What a word of solidarity from the champ at this hour of time. Sportsman and a great human who knows things outside the world behind sports. Thank you Pacman. And May 2nd we all the people from Nepal are with you.? Matthew Storm stated ?I think it?s actually impossible not to love this guy. Manny you are a champion of life.? Malachi Whitaker remarked ?You don?t see Mayweather praying for anyone. How would you not like this guy (Pacquiao)?? Based on latest update, around 2,500 people were reported killed after a 7.9 magnitude earthquake struck Nepal and triggered Mt. Everest avalanche. A 6.7 magnitude violent aftershock exacerbated the devastation and sent the people particularly the victims into further chaos. The epicenter was located some 80 kilometers (50 miles) from the country?s capital, Kathmandu. International aid groups had already rushed to Nepal to help in the rescue and rehabilitation efforts.
