"Hildalgo has a lot of experience and I definitely learned from him tonight," said Julian Ramirez. "It was tough working the inside which was my plan, Hidalgo is a tough fighter and in good condition. No fight is easy and I want to keep facing tough opponents and beat them."

"I want to fight the best and Julian challenged me tonight," said Raul Hidalgo. "Julian was fast and a hard puncher and tonight was not my night. I want to continue to challenge myself and fight the best will only help me get better."

In the co-main event of the night, 2008 Brazilian Olympic Bronze Medalist Yamaguchi Falcao (5-0, 2 KOs) faced Deartie "Vicious" Tucker (2-1, 2 KOs) of Fort Smith, Arkansas in a scheduled six-round middleweight bout. The exciting fight went the distance with both fighters aggressively charging at each other. Ultimately, Falcao was victorious, winning the fight by unanimous decision.

"I am happy about the win but this fight surprised me," said Yamaguchi Falcao. "I couldn't find my rhythm. I need to go back to the gym and train harder so the fans can see the real Yamaguchi."

"I am feeling good," said Deartie Tucker. "I am proud of myself for going the full six rounds, I know I lost but I am feeling good."

In the first televised bout of the night, Brazil's Everton Lopes (2-0, 1 KOs) faced Robert Seyam (2-3, 2 KOs) of Wichita, Kansas in scheduled a six-round super lightweight bout. "I was pumped for the fight," said Joet Gonzalez. "A lot of people came out to see me. It was my first fight under Golden Boy Promotions, and I knew I had to impress them. I just took it as another fight and I can't wait to get back in the ring."

Opening up the night, Melsik Baghdasaryan (1-0, 1 KOs) gave the crowd something to cheer for as his speed and hard punches brought Mario Angeles (1-7-2) to the ground twice in the first round. "I'm a former kickboxing champion, and boxing is very different, said Melsik Baghdasaryan. "I have to relax and focus on boxing, throwing combinations and moving my feet. In kickboxing we look for the knockout but in boxing you have to be smarter and I am ready to continue boxing. It's a challenge for me and I know I can conquer the sport."
