LOS ANGELES -- The Phoenix Suns scored the first nine points of the ballgame and never looked back en route to a 107-88 victory over the Los Angeles Clippers at the Staples Center.
Goran Dragic led the visitors with 26 points and eight assists while Gerald Green had 21. P.J. Tucker and Channing Frye finished with 12 points each for Phoenix, which improved its record to 19-11.
Blake Griffin and Jamal Crawford turned in 15 markers each for Los Angeles but All-Star Chris Paul was held to just 11 and seven assists. DeAndre Jordan was the lone highlight for the Clippers finishing with 19 rebounds to go with his two points.
"It's not the worst loss. Portland and Golden State were the worst losses. This is the worst we've ever played," Clippers head coach Doc Rivers told reporters after the game in which his team made only 31 of 85 field goals for a low 36.5 percent. (MR)
