Mike Tyson Invitational Announces Schedule of Events for Amateur Showcase Beginning This Thursday in Las Vegas PhilBoxing.com Wed, 11 Mar 2026 Three-Day Amateur Boxing Showcase Set for March 12–14 at SAHARA Las Vegas LAS VEGAS — The inaugural Mike Tyson Invitational (MTI), spearheaded by the former undisputed heavyweight champion, is set to bring the nation’s elite amateur boxing talent to Las Vegas for a premier three-day experience. Combining high-stakes competition, direct mentorship, and exclusive fan engagement, the event will host more than 50 of America’s top youth boxers. "This is about the future of the sport. We’re giving these fighters the platform and the mentorship they need to become the next generation of champions," said Tyson. “This event is a very special project for me. I look forward to working with these great young boxers and doing what I can to make a positive impact on their future, both in and out of the ring.” OFFICIAL EVENT SCHEDULE Thursday, March 12: Opening Night – An Exclusive Conversation The Invitational weekend kicks off with an intimate and exclusive conversation featuring Mike Tyson, hosted by legendary Hall of Fame broadcaster Jim Gray. In this rare, candid discussion, Tyson will reflect on the current landscape of amateur boxing, and his personal mission to revitalize amateur competition across the United States. Friday, March 13: The Workout & Media Day The momentum builds with an Official Workout for the Mike Tyson Invitational guests. This session offers media a first-hand look at the elite talent in action. Elite Training: Witness top prospects showcasing their boxing skills Behind-the-Scenes Access: Insight into the preparation required at the highest level of amateur boxing. Media Opportunities: There will be a 15-minute interview session with Mike Tyson, as well as exclusive access for content and interviews with the next generation of boxing stars. Saturday, March 14: The Championship Showcase The MTI reaches its peak on Saturday evening at the SAHARA Las Vegas. Selected fighters will compete before a capacity crowd of fans and industry leaders in a high-energy night designed to provide rising stars with critical national exposure.
