NBA Preseason -- Hardaway Jr lifts Knicks past Celtics
By Ryan Medida PhilBoxing.com Thu, 10 Oct 2013

SAN FRANCISCO -- Rookie Tim Hardaway Jr scattered 16 points to lead the New York Knicks over the Boston Celtics, 103-102, Wednesday night at the Dunkin Donuts Center in Providence, Rhode Island.
The son of NBA great Tim Hardaway, Tim Jr hit 6-of-10 field goals, including the eventual game winner with 8.2 seconds left to play in the fourth quarter.
"It was great, everything you've asked for, you've dreamed of, and its coming to reality," Hardaway Jr told NBA.com
A product of the University of Michigan, Hardaway Jr was picked by the Knicks in last June's NBA draft. The 6-foot-6, 205 pounder is only 21.
Iman Shumpert led the Knicks with 18 on 7-for-7 shooting while Metta World Peace, who was waived by the Lakers through the amnesty clause during the offseason, had 13 points. Raymond Felton finished with 11 and five assists.
Paul Pressey topscored with 13 for the Celtics. (RM)
