AN UNDERDOG BURDENED TO BEAT NOT JUST MAYWEATHER BUT THE WORLD

?You And Me Against The World? is a classic ballad from the 70s written by Paul Williams and popularized by Helen Reddy. But for Saul ?Canelo? Alvarez, the huge but able underdog, it?s a reality more than a song to move an audience tomorrow at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.
Everybody thinks Floyd Mayweather Jr. will win over the Mexican ?cinnamon.?
It seems like no one but Alvarez believes otherwise. Media, experts and fans are in unison discounting the possibility of a Canelo upset. And if what they are chanting along with the rest of the boxing world?s predictions would be a basis to tell the outcome of the fight, only a miracle may alter the vaunted scenario.
?The One? bout has the ?Red Sea? components to compel Moses to resurrect from his graveyard so that a way could be made ?where there seems to be no way.? It has all the necessary ingredients to label the fight a ?fairy tale? drama in the event that Alvarez would win or knockout Mayweather.
But how can you disbelieve a miracle on reasonable grounds? Fairy tales do happen not just in movies and books.
