PH chess genius Jerick Faeldonia to compete in GM Balinas kiddies chess tournament

PH chess genius Jerick "Pogi" Faeldonia will showcase his talent in the Grandmaster and Attorney Rosendo Careon Balinas Jr. kiddies online chess championship to be held on November 22, 2020 at lichess.org.
The free registration 3 minutes plus 2 seconds increment time control format is open to all kiddy chessers ages 12 years old and below, backed up by US based frontliner Dr. Joe Balinas, Engr. Antonio "Uncle Paps" Balinas, Mr. Recca Carcueva of Philippine E-9 Chess Club and Mr. Wagish Kumar Rai of Frontier Wheels and organzed by Bayanihan Chess Club.
The 10 years old Faeldonia, a grade 5 pupil of Legarda Elementary School will slug it out against country's best kiddie woodpushers that includes Candidate Master (CM) Al-Basher "Basty" Buto of Cainta, Rizal, Oshrie Jhames "OJ" Constantino Reyes Dila-Dila, Santa Rita, Pampanga, Ivan Travis Cu and Jericho Winston Cu of San Juan City, Dennis Jocel Mendoza of Mandaluyong City, Dwight De Guzman of Kalibo, Aklan, Arnel Mahawan Jr. of San Rafael, Bulacan and Ryien Bahita of Canlaon City, Negros Oriental.
“I hope to do well in the upcoming Grandmaster and Attorney Rosendo Careon Balinas Jr. kiddies online chess championship ,” said Faeldonia, the pride of Espana Chess Club, Manila.-Marlon Bernardino-
