Aldea scores 8th round KO in Russia

DAVAO CITY ? Filipino lightweight Roldan ?The Cobra? Aldea of Negros Occidental pulled his biggest upset by knocking out Mikhail Alexeev of Russia in the 8th round last July 13 at the RCC Boxing Academy in Ekaterinburg, Russia.
It was Aldea?s 8th knockout victory and 14th win against 7 loss and 1 draw.
Alexeev, 23 suffered his first knockout loss after 12 wins.
The 25-year old Aldea also earlier scored a 1st round knockout against Nathan Bolcio of Benguet last May 4.
The promoter is German Titov of Titov/RCC Boxing Promotions. (Lito delos Reyes)
