Mepranum to fight Chen on June 1 in Macao

DAVAO CITY ? Bantamweight Richie ?Magnum? Mepranum of Sarangani will fight Sen Chen of China on June 1 at the Wynn Palace Cotai in Macao.
The 32-year old Mepranum (33W-7L-1D, 9KO) scored a majority decision over Bukidnon?s Rodel Tejares in General Santos City.
Chen (11W-1L-0D, 2KO) beat Indonesian Ricky Manufoe by a unanimous decision last May 26, 2018 in Beijing.
He also beat the Philippines? Alan Aberca by a UD last Feb. 28, 2018 in the IBF Silk Road Champions Tournament Junior featherweight final.
The promoter is Andrew Lu of Rejoy Group. (Lito delos Reyes)
