NBA -- Bulls beat Bucks to keep playoff hopes alive
By Nick Osen PhilBoxing.com Tue, 05 Apr 2016

MILWAUKEE -- With only six games remaining on their schedule, the Chicago Bulls kept their flickering hopes alive with a much-needed win on Sunday night.
Jimmy Butler, a star at nearby Marquette University, scored 25 points and eight assists to lead the Chicago Bulls to a 102-98 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks at the BMO Harris Bradley Center. Nikola Mirotic pumped in 19 points and Pau Gasol added 16 and eight boards as Chicago improved to 39-38, 9th place in the Eastern Conference and trailing both the Detroit Pistons and Indiana Pacers by two games.
"I think it's how our backs are against the wall right now, and we have to win every game and play every possession like it's the last one," Butler told NBA.com of his team's sense of urgency. Chicago shot 52.7 percent from the field and 26.9 percent from 3-point range.
Giannis Antetokounmpo sprayed 34 points, nine rebounds and five assists while Jabari Parker, recovering nicely from last season's torn ACL, continued to show great strides with 24 points and 11 rebounds. But at 32-45, the Bucks are no longer in playoffs contention.
