Paulette Cuesta and Susy Kandy Sandoval Set for Highly Anticipated Rematch in Tijuana PhilBoxing.com Tue, 02 Sep 2025  Tijuana, Mexico – A rivalry is set to be reignited on Saturday, September 20th, when rising contender Paulette “Heredera” Cuesta (17-5-1, 4KO) faces seasoned warrior Susy Kandy “La Rubia” Sandoval (10-22, 2KO) in an 8-round rematch at the Tecate Arena in Tijuana, Mexico. The fight card is presented by Baja Boxing. The two first met in a spirited six-round battle, where Cuesta emerged victorious by unanimous decision back in April of 2021. The rematch comes with new intrigue, as Cuesta is now campaigning in the bantamweight division, eager to display her continued growth and strength at her new weight.
