NBA -- Foye nails six 3s as Nuggets rough up Thunder
By Ryan Medida PhilBoxing.com Sat, 11 Jan 2014

SAN FRANCISCO -- Randy Foye went ballistic from beyond the arc, hitting 6-of-9 threes to lift the Denver Nuggets to an easy romp over the visiting Oklahoma City Thunder Thursday night at the Pepsi Center.
Evan Fournier exploded for 19 while point guard Ty Lawson set the table in offense with 16 points and 14 assists and the Nuggets cruised to a 101-88 victory.
The win improved Denver's slate to 18-17, just 1 1/2 games behind the 20-16 Dallas Mavericks for the eighth and last playoffs berth in the Western Conference.
Kevin Durant led the Thunder with 30 points but he made only 7-of-18 field goals and 1-of-7 triple attempts. Guards Reggie Jackson and Derek Fisher had 13 and 12 points respectively but no other OKC player scored in double figures/
"Today, they were sitting there and watching me. I take full responsibility. As the leader, you take the good and the bad," Durant told NBA.com after OKC converted only 30 of 85 shots and 6-of-24 triples.
Despite the loss, the Thunder are at 27-9, third best in a tough Western Conference. (RM)
