NBA -- Three Kings too much for Rockets

LOS ANGELES --- Sacramento's triumvirate of DeMarcus Cousins, Isaiah Thomas and the newly-acquired Rudy Gay pooled for a combined 76 points to lift the Kings to an easy 106-91 win over the Houston Rockets on Sunday.
Gay, who was traded from the Raptors early in the week, dazzled with 26 points while Cousins had 21 and 10 rebounds. Thomas added 19 and eight assists as the Kings won for the fifth time in 15 games at the Sleep Train Arena. They are 7-15 overall.
"It makes the game so much easier. It's not such a heavy load on me and Isaiah every night," Cousins told NBA.com of Gay's addition to Sacramento.
James Harden made 8-of-18 field goals to lead the Rockets with 25 points. Chandler Parsons finished with 19 while All-Star center Dwight Howard had a quiet 13 and 10 boards.
The Rockets , who played without Jeremy Lin (back spasms) and center Omer Asik (knee contusion), dropped to 16-9 in the overall standings. (SD)
