MERCADO 'ROBBED' OF VICTORY OVER MALINGA!

Jerope Mercado was at the receiving end of another dubious decision a few hours ago in South Africa when his fight with WBC Int'l bantam champ Vusi Malinga ended in a controversial split draw after 12-rounds at the NASREC Indoor Arena in Johannesburg.
Rex 'Wakee' Salud, who manages Mercado, informed that his boy was 'robbed' of the victory based on the description filed to him by trainer Juanito Ablaca, who assisted Mercado in the corner.
One judge saw Mercado the winner 115-113, while another judge had Malinga the victor 114-113. The third judge saw it a draw at 114-114 resulting in the split draw.
