GBP Vice-President Eric Gomez informed Philboxing.com a few minutes ago that Golden Boy Oscar De la Hoya will announce his choice of trainer tomorrow for his titanic May 5 showdown with the other-worldly Floyd Mayweather Jr.
Filipino fight fans are awaiting with bated breath the announcement, as Freddie Roach, who is close to Filipino boxing, is on the short list, although he is downplaying his chances of getting the plum job.
