EARLY RESULTS FROM LAS VEGAS: BELLOWS KO 1 MOORE; PEARSON TKO 1 WILLIAMS

MGM GRAND GARDEN ARENA, LAS VEGAS, NV -- In the opening bout of mammoth Floyd Mayweather Jr vs Canelo Alvarez fight later tonight, Lanell Bellows (L) (6-0-1, 5KO) of Las Vegas stopped Jordan Moore (3-1-0) of Logan West Virginia at 2:37 of the first round in a super middleweight 4-rounder bout. Bellows registered his 5th knockout win in 6 fights while Moore tasted his first defeat after registering 3 straight wins.
In the second bout, Chris Pearson (12-0-0, 9KO) of Dayton, Ohio won by TKO over Joshua Williams (9-6-0, 5KO) of Westerly, Rhode Island. Time: 1:14 of round 1.
