M?rquez: "I'd Love to Fight Bradley" By Carlos Costa PhilBoxing.com Sun, 31 Mar 2013 ![]() Upon his arrival at the Mandalay Bay Hotel & Casino to attend the Alvarado-Rios II fight, Mexican superstar world champion Juan Manuel M?rquez received standing ovation and cheers from adoring Las Vegas fans. It was the return of M?rquez to Las Vegas after his spectacular knockout victory over Manny Pacquiao last December, one of the most stunning knockout wins seen in boxing in recent years, winner of an award as the "Best Knockout of the Year." The vibrant welcoming of Marquez was by far more enthusiastic that the applause given for Mike Tyson, who was another special guest in attendance for the title fight in which Mike Alvarado outboxed Brandon "Bam Bam" Rios to capture the interim super lightweight world title. Special VIP guests and boxing fans alike came to M?rquez to have autographs and photos from the popular ring legend, one of the best Pound-For-Pound fighters in the world. Legendary boxing promoter Bob Arum came to join world champion M?rquez at ringside and seconds later fellow world champ Timothy Bradley came to congratulate M?rquez, the three of them smiling for more photos. Greeting fans and looking in really good spirits in Las Vegas, a clean-shaven Juan Manuel M?rquez shared: ?I'll have a talk with Mr. Arum and we'll see what might be next. At this moment it has not been decided if my next fight will be with Bradley. But I must admit that I would love to have a fight with Bradley."
