NBA -- Deng, Boozer power Bulls past Raptors in OT, 107-105 By Homer D. Sayson PhilBoxing.com Thu, 17 Jan 2013 CHICAGO --- Up 76-57 following a Rip Hamilton 3 with just 4:08 left in the third quarter, the Bulls established what seemed like an insormountable lead over the Toronto Raptors Wednesday night at the Air Canada Centre. But the gutsy Raptors turned the potential yawner into a all-out brawl, knotting the count at ab even 100-100, which required an extra minutes to settle the issue. In the overtime session, Bulls dmall forward Luol Deng saved the day and sank the game-winning shot with 3.3 ticks to go. The Raptors' fate was finally sealed when point guard Jose Calderon's 3-point heave missed the mark as time expired. Power forward Carlos Boozer had a season-high 35 points alongside 12 rebounds and three assists, but Deng did as much damage to the 14-25 Raptors with 19 points, six rebounds and seven assists. Center Joakim Noah had 16 and 14 rebounds while veteran sniper Rip Hamilton added 15 more/ "It's't just maturing and I've been in the league awhile. I know what I can and can't do. There are a few things I do well and I stick to them. I just stick to my game, never go out of my character. " Deng told the Chicago Bulls after yet another brilliant all-around performance. It was the Bulls second win in as many outings, improving their mark to 22-15, just a half-game behind the Indiana Pacers who led the Central Division with a 24-16 slate.
