UNQUENCHABLE OUTRAGE IN PACQUIAO-BRADLEY LOTTO AND THE NBA ?WAITING?

PhilBoxing.com

The waves are revolting and the ripples seem unending.
Imagine Joshua Clottey winning the fight against Manny Pacquiao in their ?sparring session? matchup dubbed as The Event at the jam packed Cowboy Stadium on March 13, 2010?

Bingo! It actually happened last Saturday when the judges robbed the scores from Pacquiao to award Bradley the ?much deserved? win, businesswise for ?astute? Bob Arum. Then a few still wonder why roars and furors are pressing almost literally from every side and ?corner? of the globe. The shrill of the rage has been audibly manifest, but such is a good sign that there is hope for boxing and the world. And that the Great Sovereign Himself may be at work to awaken all of us from ?deep slumber.?

Bradley is a Clottey in a ?hit and run? mode against Marvelous Marvin. And Bradley is a punching Clottey who was hammered and banged by Henry Armstrong. Clottey, I mean Bradley, was about to fall in at least a couple of times if not for Pacquiao?s lackluster tenacity during those rounds and if not for Pacquiao?s hesitancy to go all out attacking Bradley the Haggler way in the last three rounds. Then literally the rest of the contest about Bradley is about Clottey throughout the twelve lopsided rounds of that Bradley-lotto-fight with Pacman. Arum at once embraced him so sweetly upon announcing the historic joke (I like the photo in Eastsideboxing.com). He won the jackpot prize, and he believes so.

But it was a sport, not a sweepstake; a world championship bout with millions ?ready to rumble? and watch. And be happy.
Even Manny having made the fans wait allegedly due the NBA game he was watching may have got to do with the management?s ploy in exchange for a bigger PPV earnings. It was not in Pacquiao?s character to do such arrogant act.

So here comes the righteous outrage. The fume seems unquenchable. But I pray it would reach a conclusion with the people seeing the sport, already in a casket, rising from the dead.

A landmark in boxing and human history is unfolding.
Take your share of the great work.
