CUELLO AND LOPEZ SET FOR WBC ELIMINATOR

Denver ?The Excitement? Cuello of the Philippines and Ganigan Lopez of Mexico both weighed in at 105 lbs during the official weigh-in held at the Plaza Centro Celaya.
Promoter Aljoe Jaro e-mailed philboxing and said that the fight will be shown live in Mexico and in the U.S. on FOX SPORTS CHANNEL 7pm Pacific/California time.
This WBC eliminator is a make or break fight for Cuello who has been knocking at the door for a world title challenge against WBC strawweight champion Kazuto Ioka of Japan.
During the pre-fight press conference Cuello, who holds the WBC Silver title in the 105 lb division, predicted that the fight will not beyond six or seven rounds. They will fight May 19 (May 20 Philippine Time).
