OCON-SINGWANGCHA VS ROMASASA IN SAN FERNANDO

CEBU ? Rex ?Wakee? Salud Promotions has announced that Fernando ?Batang Bato? Ocon has joined the list of boxers that are sponsored by Thai boxing patron Naris Singwangcha. Ocon will be introduced as Ocon F. Singwangcha when he fights Aroel Romasasa in San Fernando, Cebu this May 10.
The 21 year old Ocon (9W-1L, 1 KO), from Bato, Leyte, won on points against JR Estremos last April 22 at the Mactan Shrine in Lapu-lapu City. This was Ocon?s second win since losing to Jether Oliva by unanimous verdict in their fight for the WBO Oriental minimumweight title. The 20 year old Romasasa (9W-0L, 5 KO?s) will try to keep his unblemished record. He has scored abbreviated wins in his last three bouts. RWS Promotions has also informed that they will elevate this bout into a PBF title fight.
Penned to fight in the undercards are Jayson Redondo Singwangcha vs Rey Vincent Liparanan (8 rounds), Gelbert Magos vs Lester Jun Pronco (6 rounds), Jonathan Francisco Singwangcha vs Dodong Tubo (4 rounds), Kenny Demecillo Singwangcha vs Jun Ryan Quimbo (4 rounds), Joel Soterol vs Jeson Inso (4 rounds) and Ryan Maano vs Sonny Katiangdagho (6 rounds).
