WBO AGAIN CONTINUES SUPPORT FOR CHILDREN AT PHILIPPINES THROUGH THEIR (WKDF) KIDS DRUG FREE PROGRAM PhilBoxing.com Fri, 18 Feb 2011  Imus, Cavite, Philippines ? WBO continues its support by reaching out to children in the Philippines. SGG Sports promotion head Sammy Gello-ani and Imus Mayor set aside their busy schedule to organized the WBO WKDF program for special youth athlete of Imus, Cavite, Philippines. Gello-ani said that the program was truly a successful event that was hosted by its Honorable town Mayor, thousand of Imus residence came out to witness the WBO WKDF contribution and gave support to Imus youth athlete by being present. The Honorable Mayor provided well deserved medals to students from different sectors of school athletic programs. ?Student from swimming, basketball, tennis, volleyball, and different martial arts classes was honored and accepted award from the Mayor. We top it off with the contribution from the World Boxing Organization (WKDF) program. ?Again, we would like to acknowledge the WBO President ?Paco? Valcarcel for caring and reaching out once again to the children of Philippines providing school goods, educational supplies and a very durable WBO back-pack for all student athlete that was acknowledge at the ceremony.? Said Gello-ani. There where hundreds and hundreds of children jammed packed at the central stage at Robinson mall to receive their goodies from the WBO, it was surely a pleasant sight to see parents, teachers and family members at the venue. ?The generosity presented by the World Boxing Organization will surely go a long way for these children. WBO (WKDF) Kids Drug Free Program is surely making a mark around the world to in-courage young children to stay off drugs and to rather give them other beneficial ways to set their minds with. This will be WBO?s 3rd year in reaching out to children from the Philippines.? added Gello-ani.  |
