Also in action will be highly-touted lightweight prospect Luis Ramos Jr., who faces former World Champion Eric Aiken in an eight round co-main event.

Navarro vs. Rocha headlines a night of world-class professional boxing presented by Golden Boy Promotions and sponsored by Cerveza Tecate. Doors open at 6:00pm PT, the first bell rings at 7:00pm and the TeleFutura broadcast airs at 11:30pm ET/PT (10:30pm CT). "Fiesta de la Independencia," a two-day celebration of the Mexican Bicentennial will feature live fights with "S?lo Boxeo Tecate," the official Mosley vs. Mora weigh-in, autograph sessions by boxing legends, live music, sponsor activations and exhibits, Mexican themed concessions provided by the Patina Restaurant Group, a beer garden and much more including a live concert by legendary band Conjunto Primavera Friday night after S?lo Boxeo Tecate, will begin Friday, September 17 in Parking Lot 7 at L.A. LIVE (located near the corner of 11th Street and Figueroa Street) at noon. A member of the 2000 United States Olympic team, Jose Navarro (27-5, 12 KO's) has grown into one of the premier bantamweights in the world and has a stellar resume to prove it. A four-time world title challenger, the East Los Angeles native was in top form in his most recent bout against Benji Garcia in May and after traveling to fight in the Philippines, Russia and Japan over the last few years, he's more than happy to be fighting in front of his hometown fans again on September 17.

Winner of five of his last six bouts, including victories over Cesar Morales and Jose Angel Beranza, highly regarded Montebello contender Nestor Rocha (22-2, 8 KO's) has been among the best 118 pounders in the world for quite some time and he's looking forward to getting another shot at a world crown in 2011. But first, the 28-year-old must get by Jose Navarro in an all-Southern California battle that has local fans eagerly anticipating the opening bell.

22-year old southpaw Luis Ramos Jr. (16-0, 8 KO's) has made great strides in his pro career in 2010, defeating Walter Estrada, Allen Litzau and Joshua Allotey in successive bouts. On September 17, after back-to-back bouts out of town, the Santa Ana standout comes home to Southern California to put on another display of his rapidly improving skills in front of his hometown fans.

A former featherweight World Champion who holds wins over the likes of Tim Austin and Valdemir Pereira, Washington D.C.'s Eric "Mighty Mouse" Aiken (16-7-1, 12 KO's) knows what it takes to make it to the top of the boxing world. As the 30-year old looks to return to title contention, he has no problem adding a "1" to the loss column of unbeaten phenom Ramos Jr. on September 17.

In undercard action...

Highly-touted Canadian junior middleweight prospect Mikael Zewski (4-0, 3 KO's) makes his debut under the Golden Boy Promotions banner when he takes on Santa Fe Springs' Gerardo Melendrez (0-1-1) in a four round bout. The 21-year-old Zewski is a four-time Canadian national amateur champion who has already impressed boxing insiders with his poise and talent in the ring as a professional.

A six round cruiserweight bout will see an all-Brooklyn turf war when unbeaten Rommel Rene (11-0, 6 KO's) steps up to face perennial contender Daniel Judah (23-6-3, 10 KO's). Also in action will be exciting East Los Angeles prospect Ramon Valadez (1-1) facing in a four round lightweight contest against an opponent to be determined, and highly touted Venezuelan prospect Alfonso Blanco making his pro debut against an opponent to be named in a four round middleweight bout.

Tecate, cerveza con car?cter, is the largest beer brand to sponsor boxing matches in the U.S. Part of its commitment to make boxing accessible to consumers is the title sponsorship of "S?lo Boxeo Tecate," which creates an opportunity for local fans to witness some of the most exhilarating fights by today's up-and-coming prospects. Additionally, Tecate has been a primary supporter of Golden Boy Promotions' marquee events since 2007, and has launched a variety of initiatives to ensure consumers are part of the boxing experience, including boxer autograph signing sessions, commemorative cans, PPV mail-in rebate offers, and most recently the launch of a mobile museum "Tecate Museo de Boxeo", which showcases decades of the most memorable moments in the sport.
