Boxing at TANJAY CITY SQUARE GARDEN Tonight

Tanjay City, Negros Oriental - The protagonists for tonight's boxing event in Tanjay made weight yesterday during the official weigh-in held at Nelia's Videoke and KTV, just a few meters away from the fight venue. Fernando Ocon of Cebu City and Nelson Llanos of Butuan City will headline the event with their ten round non-title light flyweight bout. "Batang Bato" Ocon and Llanos both weighed 108 lbs. Ocon is an undefeated (5W-OL, 1 KO) second year pro who will go up against a grizzled veteran who has fought and lost to the likes of Edrin Dapudong, Denver Cuello and Jin ? man Jeon.
The weigh-in was supervised by Rolando Mendoza of the Games and Amusements Board (GAB Cebu). Tanjay fight fans will get to size up the up and coming fighters from the Rex ?Wakee? Salud Stable.
RJ Anoos (126 lbs) of Cebu City vs. Jomar Ministerio (124 lbs) of Cagayan de Oro City (6 rounds ), Christian Saga (112 lbs) of Cebu City vs Gary Macalam (116 lbs) of Cagayan de Oro City (6 rounds), Romel Banquirigo (114 1/2 lbs) of Gen. Santos City vs Renjie Sabanal (114 1/2 lbs) of Siaton, Negros Oriental (4 rounds), Roel Ocaris (112 lbs) of Siaton, Negros Oriental vs Romnick Magos (111 1/4 lbs) of Mabinay, Negros Oriental (4 rounds ) and Rajah Nas Bantogan (127 lbs) of Siquijor vs Adrian Solo (123 1/2 lbs) of Siaton, Negros Oriental (4 rounds). There will also be eight amateur bouts.
This boxing event is presented by RWS International Boxing Promotions through the efforts of matchmaker Willie Flores and will be held at the Tanjay Square Garden, Tanjay City. Fights start at 7:30 PM.
