 GM Wesley So Philippines drew his fourth round game against GM Yangi Yu of China in the ongoing 2010 Asian Individual Chess Championships held at at the Subic Exhibition and Convention Center.
 
 The 16 year old So played black and essayed the Sicilian defense. The game was drawn after 30 moves  with both players having two rooks and queen with equal number of pawns. Yangi is also a chess prodigy who became a grandmaster at 15 years old.
 Sonow has 3.5 points after four games, winning his initial assignments against Vietnamese IM Nguyen Thanh Son, GM Saleh Salem of the United Arab Emirates and Filipino IM Oliver Barbosa.
 
 Can So end the Philippines? decades long drought in Asian Individual Chess?
 So will be up against strong players that he already faced in European tournaments like China?s GM Ni Hua (ELO  2667), Vietnam?s Nguyen Ngoc Truong Son (ELO 2642) and India?s GM Pentala Harikrishna  ( ELO 2660). The top seed is GM Le Qiang Lem (ELO 2689) of Vietnam.
