The presser featured 3 Championship fights between: In the main event, Steve ?The Canadian Kid? Molitor (31-1,12KO) vs. Takalani ?The Panther? Ndlovu (30-5,18KO) for the IBF Jr. Featherweight World Title. Canadian Heavyweight Champion Greg ?The Steel Pole? Kielsa (11-0,5KO) against challenger Neven ?No Surrender? Pajkic (11-0,5KO) who are both undefeated with the same record. San Francisco Fil-Am Ana ?The Hurricane? Julaton (6-1-1,1KO) against Toronto?s Lisa ?Bad News? Brown (16-4-3,5KO) for the vacant women?s WBA Super Bantamweight world champion. The IBF/WBO champion Ana Julaton, was called to the podium with Coach Nonito Donaire Sr. and advisor Angelo Reyes. She (Ana) is placed to the left of Allan Tremblay and to his right is WIBA/NABC champion Lisa Brown accompanied by her Coach Errol and promoter Michael Smit. Brown?s promoter Smit opens with a picture of Lisa adorned with four title belts, two on each arm. He contends that she will hold a fifth which is the vacant WBA Super featherweight world title in contention. Reyes responds with much respect for Lisa Brown and contends, ?This will be a history making fight between two beasts, the two best female fighters in the world?. Reyes recalls when Ana fought in an undercard at one of Lisa Brown?s previous fights and remembers that one day they would soon meet, that day is now a reality. Lisa?s Husband/Coach Errol Brown is with little words, but comments that he stands with ?The best female fighter in the world?. Coach Nonito humbly address? the press noting on Ana?s ? desire for perfection? and ?hardworking discipline? that has left a lasting impression on him and accounts for those traits to be the reason behind her success this coming event. When the fighters spoke on the podium, it is evident that there is no grudge between the two, but rather a professional mutual respect. Lisa Brown approaches first and welcomes Ana graciously to which she comments, ?I?m in really good shape, I?m ready, I come with a warrior?s spirit?. Her strong demeanour cannot be masked as her body language matches her vernacular. Top photo: Lisa Brown (L) and Ana Julaton are all smiles in front of the camera during Thursday morning's presscon. Allan then calls the Ana to the podium. Ana speaks with a humbleness, but confidant. Respectful but assured. It is more than obvious that she is pleased to be in Canada for the first time and confidently remarks, ?I am facing the best female boxer with the best female boxing team. This will be a historic fight that will add another great element to female boxing?. The two female fighters are called to the front of the podium for a face-to-face pose. Both look ready and look strong. It is the first time they are standing so intensely in front of each other ready in their boxing stance. It is only a prelude to what may be one of the most notable female fights in Canadian Boxing History.
