REPORTING FROM LOS ANGELES, California - I have just received an e-mail from Monica Sears, Public Relations Director of Golden Boy Promotions informing this writer and the general public about the forthcoming pre-fight press conference for Pacquiao vs. Hatton.
Following are the specifics of this Hollywood event raw as e-mail extract, to wit:
EXCLUSIVE RED CARPET HOLLYWOOD PREMIERE OF ?THE BATTLE OF EAST AND WEST? STARRING MANNY PACQUIAO AND RICKY HATTON IN THEIR MAY 2 WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP THIS MONDAY! MARCH 30, at 7 P.M. ROOSEVELT HOTEL - BLOSSOM ROOM
WHAT: Please join boxing?s pound for pound king Manny Pacquiao and Junior Welterweight Champion Ricky Hatton for a private, red carpet media "meet and greet" one month prior to their May 2 World Championship Showdown at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Both fighters will arrive at 7:30pm to walk the red carpet on Hollywood Boulevard at the Roosevelt Hotel, the original location for the Oscars. It's the American premiere of ?The Battle of East and West? worthy of an Academy Award and starring both fighters who will be looking for their own award when they battle in the biggest international boxing event of the year.
WHEN: MONDAY, MARCH 30
