Knockout at Nokia Theater: Sam Peter vs. Eddie Chambers

LOS ANGELES, California ? In an age of all-time low in the big men?s division, the boxing henchmen have crossed over and have gone to work. Yes, they have staged a must-see matchup that fans, media and the fighters themselves have been clamoring for.
This event will take place on March 27 when World-ranked contender Eddie Chambers (won 33 + loss 1 + drawn 0) and former WBC World Heavyweight Champion Sam ?Nightmare Nigerian? Peter (won 30+ loss 2 + drawn 0) collide in a heavyweight title scheduled for 12 rounds on a special edition of ESPN?s ?Friday Night Fights? at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. at the Nokia Theater in Downtown Los Angeles.
This ESPN?s marquee night of boxing promoted in association with DUVA Boxing and Goossen Tutor will be the first ever boxing event staged from the world-class 7,100-seat Nokia Theater L.A. Live, a 4-million square foot/$ 2.5 billion downtown Los Angeles sports, residential and entertainment district adjacent to the Staples Center.
The undercard is loaded with local heroes including two U.S. 2008 Olympians, Super Middleweight Shawn Estrada (2-0, 2KOs) from East Los Angeles and his Olympic teammate Javier Molina.
Weigh-in will be staged on Thursday, March 26, 11:00 a.m. at the Crowne Plaza Hotel LAX in the Burgundy/Bordeaux room.
