PACQUIAO TO MEET ARROYO IN LOS ANGELES

Pound for pound king Manny Pacquiao is scheduled to meet with President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo later today at the Los Angeles International Airport for a meeting before the chief executive proceeds to Lima, Peru for an important appointment.
Pacquiao is currently in the middle of training for the biggest fight in his career against Oscar De la Hoya on Dec. 6 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
There was no indication as to the purpose of the meeting, although Philboxing.com learned from a reliable source yesterday that Pacquiao is part of the Filipino community being invited by Arroyo to the meeting.
President Arroyo will then proceed to Lima, Peru for a summit meeting of the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation forum.
