Grandy Twins Head to Tampa to Learn from Hall of Famers Antonio Tarver and Winky Wright Ahead of August 14 Homecoming Fight

Undefeated Prospects Continue Their Development by Training with Two Boxing Legends Before Returning Home for BiYu Promotions' "Fights Under the Lights."

TAMPA, FL (July 20, 2026) – The Grandy Twins have spent most of their lives in front of a camera.

At just five years old, super featherweight Steven (4-0, 4 KOs) and lightweight Daniel Grandy (4-0, 3 KOs), became internet sensations after videos of their remarkable boxing ability spread across social media, introducing millions to two little boys whose talent seemed years beyond their age. Their viral fame led to appearances on national television, recognition from some of the biggest names in sports and entertainment, and a loyal fan base that has followed every step of their journey.

Now, more than a decade later, the undefeated twin brothers are taking another important step, not for social media, but for their future in boxing.

In preparation for their return to the ring on Friday, August 14, the 17-year-old prospects have traveled to Tampa, Florida, to train with International Boxing Hall of Famers Antonio Tarver and Winky Wright, two former world champions whose combined knowledge spans decades at the highest level of the sport.

The experience comes just weeks before BiYu Promotions debuts its new boxing series, "Fights Under the Lights," at Constellation Field in Sugar Land, Texas, where the brothers will compete in front of friends, family, and fans from their adopted hometown of Houston. Both fighters are scheduled to compete in separate 4-round bouts.

For Steven, who will be facing Gerardo Chavez Reyes (3-5, 2 KOs), the opportunity is bigger than simply working with boxing legends.

"This is something we've dreamed about," said Steven. "Growing up, we watched guys like Antonio Tarver and Winky Wright compete against the best fighters in the world. Now they're taking time to teach us, correct us, and help us improve. That's something we don't take lightly. Every day we're in the gym, we're trying to earn their respect and become better than we were the day before."

While the brothers have enjoyed success since turning professional, Steven believes they're only scratching the surface.

"We're undefeated, but we know we still have a lot to learn. That's why we're here. We want to become complete fighters, not just talented fighters."

Daniel, who battles Eduardo Tarango (1-5), shares that same mindset.

"Being around champions changes the way you think," Daniel said. "Coach Tarver and Coach Winky have seen everything in boxing. They're teaching us little details that make a huge difference. It's not just about throwing punches, it's about being smarter, staying disciplined, and understanding the game at another level."

"We're grateful for this opportunity because a lot of young fighters never get this kind of experience. We're going to take everything we learn here and bring it back home on August 14."

BiYu Promotions, Bobby Harrison, believes the camp represents exactly the type of investment necessary to develop future champions.

"Steven and Daniel have always had the talent," Harrison said. "People have known that since they were little kids. But talent alone doesn't win world titles. Learning from fighters like Antonio Tarver and Winky Wright gives them something you can't teach overnight, championship experience. Those men understand what it takes to compete at the highest level, and they're helping prepare these young fighters for where we believe they're headed."

"As a promoter, our responsibility is to give our athletes every opportunity to grow. This camp is part of that process, and I think fans are going to see the results when the Grandy Twins step into the ring on August 14."

The Grandy Twins enter the event with identical undefeated records and growing momentum, but neither brother is focused on protecting a perfect record. Their focus is becoming the best version of themselves.

That journey brings them back to Sugar Land on August 14, where they'll perform in front of the Houston-area fans who have embraced them since relocating to Texas.

"There's nothing like fighting at home," Steven said. "We feed off that energy."

"We want everyone who's watched us grow up to come out and see how far we've come," Daniel added. "This isn't just another fight. It's another step toward our dream, and we're excited to share that with our hometown. fans"

BiYu Promotions' "Fights Under the Lights" promises an action-packed evening featuring several of boxing's top undefeated prospects, but for many fans, the return of the Grandy Twins may be the night's most anticipated moment.

The viral kids who once amazed the internet are growing into polished professionals, and after spending time learning from two Hall of Fame champions, they'll have another opportunity to show just how far they've come.

Tickets for "Fights Under the Lights" priced $45 (General Admission), $95 (First Community Club), $125 (Field Reserve Rows: 7-10), $145 (Ringside Rows: 4-6), $165 (Ringside Rows: 2-3), $195 (Ringside Row 1), plus applicable fees, are on sale now at www.biyupromotions.com.
