HALL OF FAMER TIMOTHY BRADLEY JR. TO RETURN TO CANASTOTA FOR 2026 HALL OF FAME INDUCTION WEEKEND PhilBoxing.com Sun, 01 Mar 2026  Annual Hall of Fame Weekend celebration set for June 11-14 CANASTOTA, NY - FEBRUARY 28, 2026 - The International Boxing Hall of Fame and Museum is pleased to announce Hall of Famer Timothy Bradley Jr will return to Canastota to participate in events planned for the 2026 Hall of Fame Induction Weekend set for June 11-14.” “The Hall of Fame is thrilled that Timothy Bradley Jr. will return to Canastota as a Hall of Famer to be part of the festivities planned for the 2026 Hall of Fame Weekend,” said Hall of Fame executive director Edward Brophy. Bradley turned pro in 2004 and captured world titles in two weight divisions (WBC /WBO super lightweight and WBO welterweight). “Desert Storm” holds wins over such standouts as Junior Witter, Kendall Holt, Lamont Peterson, Joel Casamayor, Devon Alexander, Jessie Vargas, Brandon Rios, Manny Pacquiao and Juan Manuel Marquez. His 2013 bout with Ruslan Provodnikov earned “Fight of the Year” honors. Bradley retired in 2016 with a pro record of 33-2-1, 1 NC (13 KOs). Outside of the ring he provided expert insight from ringside as a commentator on ESPN’s boxing telecasts. In 2023 Bradley was elected into the Hall of Fame. The Class of 2026 to be honored includes boxers Gennadiy “GGG” Golovkin, Nigel Benn, Antonio Tarver, Naoko Fujioka, Jackie Nava, Jimmy Clabby (posthumous), trainer / cut man Russ Anber, referee Frank Cappuccino (posthumous), trainer / cut man Jimmy Glenn (posthumous), physician Dr. Flip Homansky, journalist Kevin Iole and broadcaster Alex Wallau (posthumous). In addition to Bradley, an impressive array of boxing stars from around the world are set to be in Canastota including Marco Antonio Barrera, Mikey Garcia, Michael Spinks, Christy Martin, Erik Morales, Winky Wright, Jim Lampley, Kelly “The Ghost” Pavlik, Vinny Paz, “Jesse” James Leija, Jorge Linares and Micky Ward. The 2026 Hall of Fame Induction Weekend is scheduled for June 11-14. Many events will take place in Canastota and nearby Turning Stone Resort Casino throughout the four-day celebration including ringside talks, fist casting, fight night, 5K race / fun run, boxing autograph card show, banquet, parade and induction ceremony.
