In the 10-round main event, undefeated super welterweight Alex Bray (11-0, 8 KOs) of Melbourne, Florida, turned in a dominant performance to capture the WBA Continental Latin American title, earning a dominant unanimous decision victory over Argentina’s Rodrigo Damian Coria (15-8, 3 KOs). Bray controlled the tempo from the opening bell, showcasing sharp combinations, ring IQ, and disciplined defense en route to decisive scorecards of 97-93, 99-91, and 100-90. “This is what I’ve worked for my entire life,” said Bray. “To win my first regional title in a main event setting in Florida, my home state, was unforgettable. Unable to continue, Haynesworth was stopped in the second round, giving Pero another statement victory.
