The 41-year-old Salvador, a resident of Quiapo, Manila built a 5-2 lead. However, Constantino bounced back winning four consecutive racks for a 6-5 lead. But Salvador won the next three racks to clinch an 8-6 victory. "It was an intense battle," said Salvador, a former student of World Champion Alex Pagulayan. Earlier, Salvador won by default against Luis Rubio then followed an 8-7 come from behind victory against Benjie Guevarra. Guevarra, a former Snooker champion got a 5-1 lead but collapsed in the end game. "I'm just lucky against Benjie Guevarra. The champion will take home the top prize of P50,000 and an all-expenses-paid trip to Japan (sponsored by Navigator Japan) to compete in the Japan Open 2026. In other matches saw, Iris Ranola downed Francis Lumpero, 8-5, Sean Mendoza beat Lewis Ng, 8-1, Atoy Malony edged Ar John Caballero, 8-7, Clent Sumalinag blanked Rowel Austria, 8-0, Junmark Alegate defeated Denden Santos, 8-3, Josan Deocaseza nipped Oven Cena, 8-7, Janshef Ladiana dealt Carmelo Ibay, 8-4, Richard Vencing waylaid Alvin Barbero, 8-6, and Oliver Jabar smashed Jacob Namial, 8-3.
