PhilBoxing.com

All systems are go at the Xfinity Mobile Arena as undefeated hometown hero Jaron "Boots" Ennis and Portugal’s Uisma Lima successfully made weight for their WBA Interim World Super Welterweight title bout, scheduled for Saturday, October 11, 2025.

The entire card, promoted by Matchroom Boxing, hit the scales Friday, setting the stage for a night of championship boxing streamed live on DAZN.

Main Event: Championship Weight Achieved
Jaron Ennis (28-0, 26 KOs), the Philadelphia native aiming to secure his first legitimate world title, weighed in at a ripped 153.4 lbs, comfortably under the 154-pound Super Welterweight limit. His opponent, the determined Uisma Lima (18-1, 14 KOs) of Portugal, was equally professional on the scale, coming in at 153 lbs.

The 12-round main event headlines a stacked card and represents a crucial step for Ennis as he seeks to transition from highly-regarded prospect to mandatory challenger for the undisputed championship.

Heavyweight and Regional Title Action
The main card, which kicks off on DAZN at 8:00 PM ET, features two other significant title fights:

WBC Continental Americas Heavyweight Title: Two big men look to make a statement in the division as Alexis Barriere (237 lbs) of Quebec City squares off against Las Vegas’ Guido Vianello (247.4 lbs).

WBA Continental North America Welterweight Title: Another Philadelphia local, Tahmir Smalls (146.8 lbs), will defend his regional title against Puerto Rico’s Jose Roman (146.4 lbs) in a 10-round contest.

Undercard Showcases Local Talent
The card is packed with rising and local fighters eager to shine for the Philadelphia crowd.

The televised portion of the event will also feature a Bantamweight clash between Philly’s Dennis Thompson (121.4 lbs) and Sean Diaz (122 lbs) of Mexico.

Prior to the main broadcast, live prelims will stream on Matchroom's YouTube channel, starting at 5:15 PM ET. Early action includes rising Lightweight Giorgio Visioli (135 lbs) taking on Brooklyn's James Wilkins (134.6 lbs), along with multiple Super-Lightweight and Super-Featherweight bouts featuring talent from New Jersey, New York, and Maryland.

The atmosphere is building for a highly competitive night of boxing as "Boots" Ennis attempts to take the next major step in his career in front of his devoted hometown fans.
