Golden Boy's Fantasy Springs Card Cleared for Action: All Fighters Make Weight

Indio, California – July 23, 2025 – Golden Boy Promotions' highly anticipated fight card at the Fantasy Springs Resort Casino is officially a go, as all fighters successfully made weight today. The Thursday, July 24th event, set to be broadcast live on DAZN, features two WBA Continental title bouts headlining a night of promising talent.

In the main event, the WBA Continental USA Super Bantamweight title will be on the line as Manuel Flores (20-1, 16 KOs) from Coachella, CA, weighed in at a lean 121.8 lbs. He will face off against Tijuana, Mexico's undefeated Jorge Chavez (14-0, 8 KOs), who also hit the mark at 121.6 lbs. This promises to be a thrilling championship clash between two rising stars.

The co-main event will see Jordan Panthen (11-0, 9 KOs) from Cold Spring, NY, battle Farid Ngoga (10-1, 6 KOs) of Phoenix, AZ, for the WBA Continental Americas Gold Super Welterweight title. Panthen weighed in at 153.8 lbs, while Ngoga came in at 153.2 lbs, ensuring their 10-round contest is set.

The card is stacked with additional competitive matchups:

• In an 8-round super welterweight bout, Grant Flores (10-0, 8 KOs) of Coachella, CA, weighed 153.6 lbs to face Todd Manuel (13-23-1, 7 KOs) of Rayne, LA, at 153.2 lbs.

• Undefeated Cayden Griffiths (8-0, 5 KOs) from Indio, CA, was 147 lbs for his 6-round welterweight contest against David Ramirez (18-5, 13 KOs) of Heredia, Costa Rica, who weighed 146.2 lbs.

• In a 6-round lightweight fight, Leonardo Sanchez (8-0, 6 KOs) of Cathedral City, CA, hit 130.6 lbs, while his opponent Abraham Valdez (14-1, 9 KOs) of Tecate, Mexico, weighed 128.4 lbs.

• The DAZN opener features a middleweight clash between Fabian Guzman (7-0, 7 KOs) of Orange, CA, at 159.4 lbs and Brian Arregui (11-5, 7 KOs) of Villaguay, Argentina, at 158.8 lbs.

Additional fights on the card also successfully made weight, including:

• Bryan Lua (10-0, 5 KOs) at 132.8 lbs vs. Kevin Piedrahita (10-3, 9 KOs) at 133 lbs in an 8-round lightweight bout.

• Javier Meza (3-0, 2 KOs) at 141 lbs vs. Cesar Villarraga (11-12-1, 5 KOs) at 139.8 lbs in a 6-round welterweight contest.

With all fighters cleared to compete, boxing fans can look forward to an exciting night of action from Fantasy Springs Resort Casino.
