Gaviola to face Narukami in Gensan

ORTHODOX Dennis Gaviola of Marawi City will face Kiyoto Narukami of Japan on June 29 at the Venue 88 in General Santos City.
Gaviola [3-7-2, 2KOs] recently suffered a technical knockout in the 5th round against unbeaten Leonard Pores III of Misamis Oriental last March 9 at Panglao Covered Court in Panglao.
The 22-year-old Narukami [4-1-0, 1KO], on the other hand, also lost to Rikuto Sezutsu by unanimous decision last December 14, 2024 at the International Conference Hall in Nagoya.
But Narukami earlier won two fights also last year. He beat Arnold Montales of Sultan Kudarat by a 2nd round TKO last July 11 at Malungon.
Narukami then outpointed Jaybie De Pablo Ignacio in the 6-rounder in Mandaluyong City.
The fight is part of ballroom boxing, which is promoted by Sanman Boxing.
