The inaugural Sportsfest in UAE for the PTC WED happened in Sports Hub Khalidiya chaired by IIEE with chapter presidents Engr. Marlon Hipolito (Dubai) and Engr. Gemino Sta. Cruz (Abu Dhabi) with IIEE former Governor Elemer Casao served as emcee. “What an incredible and action-packed event we had at the World Engineering Day Sports Fest 2025. Engineers from different organizations came together, not just to showcase their technical skills but also their sportsmanship, teamwork, and competitive spirit” says Hipolito. “Basketball with unstoppable teamwork, Darts in precision at its finest, chess with brilliant strategies, tug of war not only using sheer strength but team coordination, Sack Race with speed and balance and mobile legends using tactical mastery. Those six events showcase the prowess of participants” says Sta. Cruz. “A Huge Thank You to all. None of this would have been possible without the organizers, volunteers, and all participants who made this event an unforgettable experience. Your dedication and hard work truly brought the engineering community together in the spirit of sports and camaraderie. “ says Lacondazo.

The culmination of the PTC-WED 2025 will be done on April 5-6, 2025 with the 3rd International Technical Conference in Beach Rotana Hotel, Abu Dhabi which will also include Advance Level Engineering Workshop.-Marlon Bernardino-
