Its 16-bout pro boxing event - billed as "The Contender" - promises to thrill fans this coming Thursday, June 27. It will be an entertaining pro boxing marathon show full of genuine leather that no boxing fan in Bangkok can afford to miss. Exciting boxers featured in starring roles are Pakistan's electrifying power-puncher "The Diamond Boy" Taimoor Khan (12-0, 11 KO's), as well as unbeaten Australian Light Heavyweight Champion Matt Floyd (9-0, 5 KO's) of Perth. The show will also have in its star line up the WBO Welterweight World Youth Champion Usman Wazeer (12-0, 8 KO's) of Pakistan. Sensational power house former Aussie Heavyweight Champion "The Herminator" Herman Ene Purcell (18-9, 10 KO's) from the Garden City of Toowoomba in Queensland Australia will be in battle too Fans will also see in action Malaysian defending WBC Asia 175-lbs Champion Adli "Golden Boy" Hafidz (13-1, 8 KO's) of Johore Bahru, battling to keep his belt. In addition, Armenian WBC Asia 126-lbs belt-holder Mikael Arutyunyan (9-1, 6 KO's) will be waging war. And there will be this special attraction: Singapore's hard-hitting 154-pounder Abdelelah Karroum (12-0, 10 KO's). FOUR WOMEN FIGHTS: The entertaining Highland Promotions card will also feature tough and awesome women warriors. In total: 4 women's fights. Climbing the ring will be Filipina former 3-time world title challenger Jessebelle "Jazzy Jezzy" Pagaduan (13-2-1, 5 KO's) of Baguio colliding against younger fighter Pimchanok Thepjanda of Thailand. Another fighting woman, unbeaten WBO International 112-lbs challenger Hin Ting Chan (6-0, 2 KO's) of Hong Kong fights Thai Peeyalux Sanpokang. Former Australian Female Middleweight Champion Connie Chan (4-7, 2 KO's) of Brisbane will trade blows against undefeated Prakayrat Wongsuta. Plus, Australian former WBA Female Inter-Continental 115-lbs Champ Linn Sandstrom (8-3-2, 2 KO's) of Sydney battles unbeaten Prakayrat Wongsuta. MORE HIGHLAND FIGHTS: Fans may as well get ready to watch welterweight debutant Khalid Fahads of Qatar against Watchara Sit Doo of Thailand. Then, unbeaten 20-year-old Briton Lightweight Salmon Mirza (5-0, 4 KO's) of Redhill, Surrey, England versus Sornram Sopakul. AND why not checking out how will this boxer do: 147-pounder Joel Lewis (4-0, 1 KO) of Perth, Australia, managed by popular coach Tony Tolj of Dragon Fire Australia will throw bombs. Yes indeed, the heavily tattooed Joel Lewis will be locking horns against strong, hard-hitting Mahdi Sarbaz (2-1, 2 KO's) of Heris, Iran. THE FIRST TWO BOUTS THAT KICK OFF THE EVENT ARE THESE: The very first fight of this 16-bout show is between two strong women: super welterweight lady former Aussie titlist Connie Chan fighting the younger, unbeaten and brave warrior girl Anchalee Mankong of Thailand. Immediately afterwards, the second fight: Iranian 21-year-old middleweight Amir Hossein Samiei Seyghaldehi (2-0, 2 KO's) of Gazvin, Iran, fights hard-swinging American William Chope (4-1-1, 3 KO's) of Martinez, California, USA. And the show will go on. In total 16 rumbles.
