Croc FC begs off Paris World Games By Lito delos Reyes PhilBoxing.com Mon, 06 May 2024 DAVAO CITY -- The Croc Football Club of Davao City has begged off from joining this year's Paris World Games 2024 in Paris due to prior commitments and other engagements. “We regret to say that we will be unable to participate for this year's tournament due to already prior commitments and other engagements,” said head coach Christian Ea, a AFC B License Coach. The event was supposed to be scheduled on July 7-12 in Paris, France. During the tournament, each person of the group will have five nights in one of the accommodations; full board [14 meals]; public transportation in Paris; participation and access to the opening ceremony. “We aim to participate hopefully next year,” said Ea, who has been 27 years in coaching already. Ea said that they want their team to be a part of international tournaments like the Paris World Games. “As Mindanao’s premiere football club, Croc has taken pride to be one of the few teams invited to represent Philippines in the Paris World Games,” said Ea The Croc FC is regularly conducting a clinic for ages 3 to 18 years old and is open to boys and girls. The regular football training is on Friday, Saturday and Sunday while the advance football training is on Wednesday and Thursday. It is held at the Davcon Sports Center in Bypass Road, Ma-a [beside the police station] and the Davao Crocodile Football Field, Davao Crocodile Park in Riverside Business Complex, Ma-a. Ea is also a former FIFA International Referee. He has been a head coach of the Ateneo de Davao, University of Saint La Salle Manila UAAP, Davao team PFF Under 15 and Under 19, Palarong Pambansa, International coach of Makati FC and Paul Stiga Academy. He is now the head coach of Croc Davao FC. Ea is now focusing to help our grassroots youth level and to develop young football players in Davao Region Ea aims to build a strong foundation and to improve and progress our football community not only in Davao Region but also the entire Mindanao. “My goal is to produce quality players in the national team and university schools in Manila,” said Ea.
